VerdiMuseum – The Digital Open Museum® of Giuseppe Verdi

Promoted by Chef Mario Marini, entrepreneur and driving force behind the Bistrot della Corale Verdi in Parma, the project VerdiMuseum – The Digital Open Museum® of Giuseppe Verdi was created with the aim of making the artistic and cultural legacy of Maestro Giuseppe Verdi accessible and widely available through digital technology.

LEN Service Onlus, a company belonging to Gruppo LEN (www.gruppolen.it), oversees the development of the Museo Digitale Diffuso® model and coordinates the technological implementation of the platform, drawing on its consolidated experience in cultural promotion through innovative digital tools.
A Digital Open Museum® is therefore a multimedia platform created to support the local area and its institutions, promoting its culture, landscape, events and related tourist services. In its complete version, it can consist of a website for the presentation of the project (not mandatory), a web portal (web app) and a mobile app (Android and iOS) in which to collect and connect institutional and possibly also social content. The Digital Open Museum® was also created to meet the needs of cultural, tourist and local operators and today’s users: for this specific reason, it can be multi-channel, multilingual, equipped with geo-referenced content, innovative technology and also connected to social media channels to allow the sharing of experiences, information, suggestions and ratings.

The project will be supported by a Scientific Committee composed of prominent figures in the cultural, musical and food and wine sectors, whose task will be to validate the content and guarantee the authority of the research and dissemination process.

The support of Public Institutions (municipalities, regions, provinces, local authorities) will also be fundamental. They are called upon to collaborate with sponsorship activities, sharing materials, promotion and communication support, strengthening the tourist and identity impact of VerdiMuseum.

The strength of the project lies in this synergy between private initiative, technological expertise, the scientific world and public institutions: a form of governance that combines entrepreneurial vision, digital innovation and cultural roots to transform Verdi’s legacy into an accessible and widespread experience capable of speaking to the whole world.
